A Bag of Hope
A Bag of Hope is a social enterprise which was established in September 2021 and we wanted to find a way to help out people in need and that’s how we came up with our ‘Bags of Hope’ which are filled with necessities that the people in need would love to have. We actually partnered up with a local charity ‘The Buchan Giving Tree’ to help us by giving out the bags to the actual people in need and just overall have their support making our local community get behind us a lot more plus we’re donating £800 to them to help them out.

Our Background
Our company, A Bag of Hope, operates from Peterhead Academy in Aberdeenshire. The company has been set up as a social enterprise and has partnered with the Buchan Giving Tree (a local charity) to help those in need in our local area. The team decided to create bags which contained essential items to help people get through difficult circumstances. Our partners helped to distribute our bags to those who needed them most. So far, we have managed to help over 60 people with our Bags of Hope, and we continue to raise awareness for our cause throughout our area.
